Marylin Monroe Ring
Few days ago a friend of mine, very talented bead embroidery artist (you can see her works here) brought to my workshop enormously big 15mm white zircon. You don't see such big zircons very often but as she loves everything sparkling, she found it somewhere on the net.
She wanted to have it in a ring, similar to one I did couple weeks before with Ruby CZ. I accepted the challenge and I've start working on the order couple days later.
I was bit afraid at the beginning, I can't deny, working with such a big stone is always bit risky. But after all I couldn't wait to start working on this ring. Today I finished and you can see the results. I couldn't leave opportunity to share it with you, cause I'm really happy with how it looks. Hope she will love it too. And you, what do you think about it? I called it MM Ring because it reminds me of Marylin Monroe, with her love for diamonds and sparkling things.

Labradorites
I think one of my favorites stones. A little bit mysterious but so amazing. They always remind me about how often we judge people just from the first look and most of the time we are so wrong later. With those stones it's the same, first look doesn't always give back the real beauty that is hidden inside. The shiny reflections look different in different type of light and angles.
Labrodorite encourages intuitive wisdom, helps one to regain energy and is associated with enhancing psychic abilities.
Eskimo legend is that in a fit of passion over lost love a great warrior threw his sword into a stone wall which caused the stone to shatter. This released the Northern Lights and the stone turned into Labradorite.
Below some of my works with these lovely stones. Enjoy :)
